A typical BigBlueButton server can handle around 150 concurrent sessions. But what if your school needs to support 1,500 concurrent online students in virtual classrooms?
We use a flexible load balancer specifically designed for BigBlueButton, that evenly distributes the meeting load across a pool of BigBlueButton servers.
The load balancer makes the Bigbluebutoon server pool appear as a single BigBlueButton server on the front end, while a server farm located in different locations stands ready in the background to serve all your virtual classrooms.
Integration
You can create your virtual classroom with existing integrations for many popular Learning Management Systems (LMS), including Moodle, Sakai, Canvas, Jenzabar, and D2L.
If you only want to use Bigbluebutton, the Greenlight (open source) web application makes it very simple for users to create meetings, generate recordings, and manage them.
