SSL & HTTPS
HTTPS ensures the security of the communication channel between the client and the server. In addition to normal file transfers, the administrator can optionally encrypt with SSL. A self-signed SSL certificate is ready for you to implement within minutes.

Encryption
While HTTPS provides a secure operational communication channel, encryption prevents unauthorized access to copies stored in the cloud environment. Accessing files protected with strong AES encryption requires a password key.

Multi-layer Backup
Unlike many backup systems, it uses a multi-layered system that significantly improves performance when backing up data to remote environment.

HTTP
Data is transferred using the firewall-friendly HTTP(S) protocol. Most companies allow the backup agent to work seamlessly without needing any additional firewall configuration.

Incremental Backup
It ensures efficient use of company internet connection resources by copying only the different parts of the data between source and destination.

Platform and Location Independent Access
Users can view and download their files in the backup environment from any internet-connected computer ussing only web browser. Files can even be accessed from mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.

Scheduled Task
The backup agent is seamlessly integrated with Windows Task Scheduler on Windows , launchd on Mac OS X and cron on Linux.

Versioning
Automatically preserves multiple versions of a backed-up file on the server. Previous versions are stored as file-deltas, which minimize disk usage while providing the ability to restore an older version.

Compression
Data is compressed using smart-compression before being sent over the network. In cases where compression has little or no effect on file size, the backup agent transfers the file as-is, preserving CPU cycles. For example, a 10 MB MP3 file won’t benefit from compression, while a 10 MB text file can easily be reduced to 1 MB with compression.

Two-Way Sync
You can synchronize one or more folders on multiple machines in both directions. This feature ensures you always have the latest version on each of your machines.
